Iceland & The Netherlands

Participants first travel to Iceland to experience the impact that climate change is having on our planet.  We visit and explore many of the unique facets of Iceland - 30 volcanic systems, geysers, ice caps, and glaciers,  Participants learn from expert Geologists about the formation of Iceland and how this  unique  environment represents the evolution of Earth's physical form and how it has been changing naturally as well as due to human disturbance over time.

The second part of the program takes participants to The Netherlands where they learn what is being done in urban environments as well as within the agricultural and business sectors to mitigate the  human impact on climate change.  This part of the program consists of "Sustainable Cities Netherlands" program components.
