WHAT WE DO

Aspire Institute programs and courses set the foundation for inspired action.  Introducing students to innovative solutions and new methods of partnering which enable more sustainable ways of being, fosters a sense of optimism. Showcasing these new ideas contributes to shifting feelings about climate change from dread/despair toward solution-focused action. We do this through our travel programs to the Netherlands (Amsterdam) & Iceland, and by collaborating with academics to create Sustainability course curriculum that meets your learning objectives by providing both relevant global and local information.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

Aspire's vision is to provide students with information on climate change and sustainability without compounding student anxiety.  It's a tough subject to address, however, with the right combination of facts and innovative, inspiring solutions, we can create a module, workshop or complete course that will complement your interdisciplinary curriculum. Especially, significant are the materials produced to augment your school's travel program.

TRAVEL PROGRAM COORDINATION

We work directly with educators and Global Programs Directors to plan and facilitate custom Sustainability study tour programs.  Our process offers complete visibility of itinerary and budget planning while creating the best possible program to meet both your objectives and budget. This transparency leads to our educators, travelling students and their parents having more confidence in the "cost vs. benefit" of Aspire programs. Aspire proposes complete itinerary, accommodations and dining options for 2-3 week programs. We work collaboratively to adjust the itinerary to meet the needs of each school and will modify aspects of the program as needed based on unforeseen changes with sites/speakers or to include new relevant ideas that may transpire prior to the program.
